2. Scope of this policy
This policy explains how I process personal data when you use CAH Dose Care.
In this version of the app:
- You do not need to create an account or register in a backend to use it.
- Clinical data is stored on your device.
- Remote synchronization of clinical data is planned, but it is not active yet.
3. What data I process
| Category | Examples | Where it is stored | Sent outside the device? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clinical data you enter | Patient name, birth date, sex assigned at birth, weight, height, doses, notes, tags, and stress-dose days | Local device database (Isar) | No, unless you choose to export or share it |
| Usage preferences | Metric/imperial unit, BSA formula, onboarding status, and selected patient | Local SharedPreferences | No |
| Import files | JSON selected manually | Temporary local read | No |
| Export files | CSV/JSON generated by the app | Temporary local storage | Only if you choose to share them |
| Technical usage and error data | Visited screens, build environment, and technical errors/crashes | Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics | Yes |
4. Why I use the data
- Enable calculations and clinical tracking inside the app.
- Store history and preferences on your device.
- Import or export information when you request it.
- Detect technical failures and improve stability (Crashlytics).
- Measure basic usage of screens and features (Analytics).
5. Legal basis
When data protection law applies (for example, GDPR), the legal basis may be:
- Performance of the requested service (core app functionality).
- Legitimate interest for technical security, error diagnostics, and product improvement.
- Consent when required by applicable law.
6. Local storage and no clinical backend
In this version, clinical data is stored locally and is not synchronized with a remote clinical database.
If you lose or damage your device and have not exported a backup first, that data may be lost.
7. Third-party services
The app may use third-party services for specific functions:
- Firebase Analytics: technical usage metrics.
- Firebase Crashlytics: error and crash reporting.
- File sharing: through the system's native picker, only when you initiate it.
- External links: if you open a link, that site applies its own privacy policy.
8. Retention
- Local data is kept until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app.
- Temporary export files may remain until the system cleans them.
- Technical data sent to Firebase is retained according to Google Firebase retention policies.
9. Your control over data
From the app you can:
- Edit or delete profiles and records.
- Delete all local data from the data deletion option.
- Export your data (CSV/JSON) before deleting it.
- Stop using the app and uninstall it at any time.
10. Minors
The app is designed for care tracking by parents, guardians, or caregivers. It does not replace professional medical judgment.
11. Security
I apply reasonable measures to protect information stored on the device.
Even so, no system can guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy to reflect legal, technical, or functional changes.
I will always display the latest update date on this page.
